Activities for newcomers

As a newcomer to Kalundborg municipality it may be a challenge to meet new people and grow your network. But there are many locals, who love to meet new people and other newcomers from around the world, who are looking to grow their network, just like you.

Cafe Hygge

A great place to start is our newcomer network Cafe Hygge. We meet every tuesday from 4 PM to 6 PM at the community house SYMB (see details below).

Kalundborg Connect

Another network is Kalundborg Connect, which is a group of (mostly) younger newcomers that arranges social and cultural activities. Read more about them here.

Network Café

If you have time during the day, you can join our Network Cafe with a weekly cafe at SYMB (see details below).

Internationals in Kalundborg

You can also find online communities, where you can meet others and find out what's happening in the local area. One of these is the Facebook group for english speaking newcomers Internationals in Kalundborg.

Social activities at SYMB

SYMB is a modern community house centrally located in Kalundborg that hosts a range of different social activities as weel as starting your own activities. As a newcomer to Kalundborg municipality, it is a good place to go if you want to meet new people and be part of social activities. You can even start your own groups here, if you don't find what you're looking for - just contact them on the link below.

Bus tour for newcomers
